Our Story
If you are lover of Important Island Art, you may well recall the original Mercurio Gallery downtown. We moved our collection west to Metchosin a few years back. Much is in storage. Sales are in hiatus for the time being. A special exposition is being contemplated.
We remain most interested in sourcing and presentation of work produced by mid-century (1950-1980) Victoria artists especially the Limners Group and their contemporaries and successors including Jack Wise, Miles Lowry, Phyllis Serota, Dorothy Field and others.
