Bad Day For Buffred
A song created during the winter session of Good Trouble Youth Art Collective. Performed by Danny Bell Music on a Cheap Keyboard. Produced by the Good Trouble Youth Art Collective.
Find out more about Good Trouble: www.tworiversgallery.ca/programs/youth/
About Buffred:
A character created by the Good Trouble Youth Art Collective. Buffred is a butler who, alongside his partner Bruce Thayne, try to be criminal masterminds but only succeed in lightly annoying people. They'll wreck your boots, steal your forks, remove your door knobs and other inconvenient mischief. Buffred is also so strong that his arms have the strength of a full grown hippo. These big arms make his legs look very tiny. He grew up in New York, and trained there as a boxer.
The lyrics:
Bad Day For Buffred
Waffles for Buffred, nothing else
Pancakes for Bruce, for his health
Start the day with a crime so evil
Creep out the house, much like a weasel
The crimes we do might ruin your day
it's not for money, it's not for fame
We Disrupt , Run away
Villains just, for villains sake
Chorus
Petty Crimes on my mind, ya ya ya ya
A better time you'll never find, ya ya ya ya
Me and Bruce we confuse, ya ya ya ya
And hope the cops do not pursue, no no no no
Take a cheese grater to your nicer boots
Take your knobs and toss the loot
My tiny legs they help me creep
My hippo arms put you to sleep
One night with Bruce, stealing forks
They hit the floor with a pinging force
Hear us now they know we're here
Getting caught is all we fear

‘The Politics of Sound’ exhibit opens at Two Rivers Gallery
CKPG News PRINCE GEORGE—We hear it and we can make it: sound. It’s around us daily. But what does it mean to us? How does it shape who we are? How does it impact our perception of the world?
Those are the questions that guest curator Tyler Stewart wants to challenge the public at the opening of his new exhibit The Politics of Sound opening at the Two Rivers Gallery through to April 10th.
“Sound isn’t just something that happens in the ear, it’s something that happens through our whole body that we actually feel sound as well.” said Stewart.
Seven artists from around the world have taken part in this collective exhibit that is first taking place in Prince George.
The exhibit examines the difference between hearing and listening; and focuses on giving underserved peoples a voice.
