Waykt (Hello). As a Secwepemc First Nations person, I create these dream catchers with deep respect for Indigenous traditions.
While the modern style is heavily associated with the Ojibwe, various forms of protective hoop-and-web creations have been shared and utilized across many nations for generations. Indigenous cultures are not a monolith, and supporting First Nations artists means supporting all of us—not just specific regions.

I am incredibly grateful for the West Kootenay Elders who have shared their traditional teachings and encouragement with me over the years.
Their wisdom gave me the courage to step out of my shell and share my creations publicly.
I am proud of my heritage and my craft.

Kukwstsetsemc (Thank you). 🤎

Fallow along with me while I create theses beaver chewed beach dreamcatchers. 🦫
Each spring time before the rivers rise i harvest theses rare beaver sticks to create theses all natural Dreamcatchers that I take pride and joy in creating my business foundation around all natural materials.

The beaver spirit animal represents hard work, resourcefulness, and relentless creation. As master builders, beavers symbolize the power to shape your environment through persistent action and the importance of teamwork. They encourage you to lay strong foundations for your goals and value the building process as much as the outcome.

So theses are my strong foundational Dreamcatchers that I am building my business based around theses nature Beaver Dreamcatchers. Hiy Hiy. 🦫

The markets have been a true blessing 🙌
Finally gained the confidence to be out into the public eye has always been a dream of mine.

I'll be attending the Nelson's cottonwood farmers market every Saturday till SEP, 19. ❤️
So if you want to see me in person, I'll be there with my set up each Saturday from 9-2.
Hope to see you there.

With great accomplishments comes the reward of hard work. ❤️

After my last market, I was able to reinvest the money I earned into my very own table and canopy. That may seem like a small step to some, but to me, it's a milestone I'm incredibly proud of.

I'm officially stepping into market season—and I hope this is only the beginning of a lifetime of sharing my art. 🙌

There is something so special about standing alongside other artists and makers who pour their hearts into creating with their hands. The support, the connections, the encouragement, and the sense of community are truly inspiring.

Here's to celebrating every accomplishment, no matter how big or small, and continuing to grow one market at a time. ❤️✨
