A new folk art piece in the gallery- Bradford Naugler from 2006.

“Summer Came Early and the Rooster Laid Soft Boiled Eggs” (2006) by Bradford Naugler is a whimsical Nova Scotia folk-art scene featuring a red barn, a carved farmer, and oxen rendered in relief that emerge from the painting itself. With Naugler's signature storytelling, bold colours, and playful humour, this mixed-media work captures the charm and imagination of rural Maritime life. $750.

Two new pieces by Myles Burry in the gallery. Both 22 x 30 inches on cradled wood panel. $600. Completed in 2026, “Single Red Tulip” and “Satellite Dish”. Not on the website currently, available now.

Myles captures the architectural beauty of buildings with the flair of folk art. Influences of Christopher Pratt naturally, given Pratt, lived in Wesleyville, the home of Burry. Yet, the flair of color and naive approaches of a folk artist. Beautifully painted in acrylic and color pencil. Statement pieces for their size and impact.

Purchased three new pieces for the gallery in an East Coast auction. The largest piece, a 54 x 33 inch classic Gerard Collins. A great little piece, “Married to NS” by Kyle Jackson and a great piece by a folk artist from Cheticamp.
