“Susan, come quick, there has been an accident on centre ice?” Tracy, one of my students was eating stinging nettle shortcake with blackberry lavender icing, plated by the Nature’s Chef on the glass tray she made the day before. I saw ‘the accident’ once
I got up close. She cut into the middle of the shortcake and the blackberry icing dripped over the sides of the cake onto the centre of her glass tray, designed as a hockey rink. It was a fun moment and soon others in the class were laughing out loud too.
Ten people create their very unique glassware on the Sat and enjoy three hours of gourmet cooking on the Sunday. The chef plates delicious food on the student’s glassware. Do you love the idea of a completely unique way of unlocking your creativity and connecting with others?
No one had ever made a glass tray in the shape of a hockey rink until now. We found out that Tracy is a resource person for people working with those addicted to drugs, a sometimes very intense job. Her passion is coaching 5-7 year old girls hockey, and now we all knew Tracy better and know what a blackberry icing ‘accident at centre ice’ can look like.
The best part, besides crazy fun creativity, is getting to know everyone in the group, cheering each other on and slowing down enough to learn about each other, connect to the point that snorts of laughter can happen.
If you want to experience a one-of-a-kind adventure that you’ll remember – and talk about for years to come PM your email address and I will make sure you receive updates on future glassware/culinary events.
