DiThompson Fine Art Dianne Thompson paints landscapes with a focus on realism, but she also paints nature in abstracted forms.

Her ability to capture the light in the space reflects her eye for colour and design. Dianne Thompson paints landscapes, flora & fauna, wall and fence Murals, and in the fall of 2017 took 2 workshops from a highly successful Muralist in Flagstaff, AZ – Mural Joe Cornelius. I have been working on trying to do a portrait, and then trying to incorporate it with flowers and background ideas. I took a small course from Milan Art, where they show flowers and drips and scribbles. Just not quite there yet.

I finished the mural yesterday at Westport,Sidney. I put in a couple of sailboats belonging to local yacht racers just for fun near the sea lion. I’m hoping the owners will take the bushes out soon so that I can get a decent full size picture of the mural. It was a lot of work, but I enjoyed it very much.😊
