A quiet corner of the countryside where time seems to slow down. The warmth of the house, the rhythm of the fence line, and the weight of the old trees all come together in that perfect, fleeting light.
This piece was about capturing that feeling more than the place itself—those moments when everything just sits right. I just love the big old maple!

Fresh off the easel from a recent session with the Meaford Art Guild 🌿🎨

Golden black-eyed Susans dancing in the foreground, with cool reflections stretching across the water — I was really drawn to that contrast between warmth and calm. These kinds of scenes always remind me how much there is to simplify, edit, and interpret rather than just copy.

Great day painting alongside a talented group and soaking in the inspiration.

Come on in to the Mill Street Gallery in Port Elgin and see a blast from the past. At our Goderich Street window, we have an amazing display of memorabilia from the Stevens-Hepner Plant. Everything from some unique photos, to the original timeclock and authentic pieces made at the factory over the years!

I’m very proud to share that one of my favourite pieces from 2025 has found a new home.

I’m deeply grateful to the galleries that sell my work and represent me as an artist. Thanks to their support, I can now say that my paintings are held in every Canadian province except PEI, as well as across the United States—from New York to California—and in several countries throughout Europe.

If you happen to be from PEI or one of the territories, let me know—I’d love to change that!

Christmas Village set up in the windows! My sister
Judy has been collecting this set for years and is a
master at setting it up. It is pretty amazing! It even has a Shelley's Diner!
