Join One World Arts and the One World Film Festival on January 28th, 2016 at 6:45PM at the ByTowne Cinema (325 Rideau St., Ottawa) for a one-night-only screening of the acclaimed documentary ON THE BRIDE’S SIDE.
The film follows five asylum-seekers from Syria and their European supporters as they travel from Milan, Italy to Stockholm, Sweden over four days in a fake wedding party.
A discussion on the war in Syria and responding to the refugee crisis with Dr. Rouba Al-Fattal (University of Ottawa), David Pepper (Refugee 613) and Wael Ismaeil will follow On The Bride’s Side.

This week Ottawa Film Society (OFS) screens the acclaimed Canadian documentary All the Time in the World as part of the OFS' International Series from January 12-14 at the Mayfair Theatre.
All the Time in the World is a thought-provoking and personal documentary that offers a sociological commentary on what today's life has evolved into for most of us and what happens when a courageous family chooses a seemingly simpler life.
This film is the winner of 19 awards from around the world, including 3 for best picture, 3 environmental awards and 1 social justice award! Also, All The Time In The World was one of 15 feature film projects selected from across Canada for Telefilm Canada’s 2014-2015 Micro-Budget Production Program.

An original exhibition celebrating visionary artist and filmmaker Andy Warhol will be presented at TIFF Bell Lightbox this fall. Running from October 30, 2015 to January 24, 2016, Andy Warhol: Stars of the Silver Screen (organized by The Andy Warhol Museum, one of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, and presented in collaboration with TIFF) will include photographs and artifacts from Warhol’s personal collection and related artworks from The Andy Warhol Museum that explore his fascination with fame and stardom.
