The Moosehorn Heritage Museum Annual Used Book and Media sale will be on Saturday, August 15th at the museum grounds. From 9:00am to 4:00pm.

We are still currently accepting donations for the sale. Call or text 1-204-768-0015 to make arrangements.

The Moosehorn Heritage Museum is accepting donations for our upcoming summer book and media sale, on Saturday, August 15th.

If you have any type of gently used media that you'd like to donate, you can call/text 1-204-768-0015 to arrange a drop off.

We are accepting donations of any genre of media items, including:

- books or magazines
- vhs tapes or dvds
- cds, records, cassettes etc
- board games
- coloring or activity books
- puzzles
- video games or consoles (any type)
- PC games
- Kids toys
-Sports equipment

So, if you're doing some summer decluttering at home and would like to donate to our annual summer fundraiser, give us a call!

We appreciate all our community support and look forward to many fun events with you this summer!

ANNUAL HOT DOG SALE! June 19th!

Our annual hot dog sale and fundraiser at the Moosehorn Heritage Museum is coming up fast on June 19th, 2026. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

We will also be having a separate hot dog sale for the students at Alf Cuthbert School to order on June 18th. Order forms will be sent home from school.

Moosehorn Heritage Museum at 15 Railway Ave in Moosehorn Manitoba is looking for two summer students.

Summer Student Positions – Museum Technician

2 Positions Available – On Site/Not Virtual

Students between the ages of 16 - 30

Main duties: focus on the digital archiving of the Museum collection

Other duties: may include research, designing displays, museum tours, gift shop and yard maintenance

Looking for individuals interested in working with computers, scanners, digital cameras, archiving software and online data capture

On behalf of all our members, we would like to wish everyone in our community a very happy holiday season and a wonderful new year!

2025 was an excellent year thanks to our staff, volunteers, visitors and the many contributions from all of our amazing community members and local businesses.
