Moosehorn Heritage Museum at 15 Railway Ave in Moosehorn Manitoba is looking for two summer students.

Summer Student Positions – Museum Technician

2 Positions Available – On Site/Not Virtual

Students between the ages of 16 - 30

Main duties: focus on the digital archiving of the Museum collection

Other duties: may include research, designing displays, museum tours, gift shop and yard maintenance

Looking for individuals interested in working with computers, scanners, digital cameras, archiving software and online data capture

On behalf of all our members, we would like to wish everyone in our community a very happy holiday season and a wonderful new year!

2025 was an excellent year thanks to our staff, volunteers, visitors and the many contributions from all of our amazing community members and local businesses.

The Moosehorn Heritage Museum would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our 3rd annual book and media sale this weekend. It was a great success and we had a fantastic time saying hello and sharing great deals with the community.

Thank you to all our wonderful community donators! Your contributions for our sale were deeply appreciated. Shout out to the wonderful staff from the Moosehorn branch of Access Credit Union for handing out free cookies, water and hosting fun draws to bring more traffic to our sale.

And a final big thank you to all of our hard working board members and volunteers! They put in a lot of time collecting, sorting and storing donations. Then setting up, running, and cleaning up after the sale, as well as hosting tours of the museum and answering questions throughout the day.

Everyone did an amazing job and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
