The Dixon Entrance Maritime Museum is located in the original Masset Hospital building, built in 1914

Summer is here! Please be patient with our volunteers - we are doing our best to ensure the museum is open, but we may need to close briefly due to scheduling.

Right now, the museum will be closed Saturday, July 25 and possibly both Saturdays of the Tlell Fall Fair and Edge of the World Music Festival.

If you have time and would like to volunteer, our board is always looking for assistance. We will train you and shifts are pretty short. Please email [email protected] for more info ❤️

A Milestone Worth Celebrating! ⚓

2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the Dixon Entrance Maritime Museum!

We couldn’t be prouder of the dedication, volunteer spirit, and care that have kept the museum thriving for the past 25 years. We would like to thank the Gwaii Trust Society for their continued support. It means the world to us💙
