A quick heads-up that Bright & Brine will be closed this week as we take down Underwater, give the gallery a deep clean, and prepare for our next exhibition.

If you happen to peek through the windows over the next few days, please pardon the mess while we reset the space!

We'll reopen the evening of Wednesday, June 10, with a special exhibition featuring paintings and photography from the private collection of David and Lorrie Bell Hawkins. This once-in-a-lifetime exhibition will include works by Alex Colville, iconic photography, and other remarkable pieces from their collection, all on display and available for purchase.

In the meantime, our website remains open for browsing and artwork purchases, and our Accent! Mini galleries around downtown are still available to visit.

We can't wait to welcome you back on June 10. More details about the exhibition will be shared soon!

🚗🚕 Parking lot update at Three Sisters 🚕 🚗

We're thrilled to see the third tower opening to residents this week! With that comes the opening of the other entrance to our parking lot. The official flow will now be to enter the parking lot in the new main entrance by the new third tower, and then exit by what has been the entrance by the gallery's tower. This will make a one-way loop that will alleviate much of the confusion and congestion in the lot.

🎨✨🎉 Big news… Thanks to the incredible financial support from Downtown Moncton Centre-ville and the City of Moncton / Ville de Moncton, we’re excited to share that we’ve expanded the program to include a record-breaking 62 artists this year! 🎉🎨✨

This year absolutely blew us away. We received over 200 submissions from artists, and the quality of work made the selection process incredibly difficult.

To everyone who submitted: thank you. Whether this was your first application or your third year with us, we’re grateful you trusted us with your work and helped make this year’s call such a strong one. All selected artists for the 2026 Accent! Window Mural Series have now been contacted.

We’ll be sharing more details soon, including installation dates, mural locations, and a few brand new spaces joining the series this year 👀

Thank you to everyone who submitted to the 2026 Accent! Window Mural Series.

This year, we received over 200 submissions, and the quality of work was incredible. Reviewing the applications has been exciting, difficult, and a reminder of just how much creative talent exists across our community.

If you submitted work, keep an eye on your inbox as we’ll be reaching out to artists over the next few days with next steps.

Then on Tuesday, we’ll officially announce the total number of artists selected and reveal where each mural will be installed across Downtown Moncton.

✨ A special shoutout to artist F***y Rasoa for the beautiful image featured here, which will also be included in this year’s series. ✨

🌊 There’s just over one week left to experience Underwater at Bright & Brine. 🌊

This group exhibition brought together 47 New Brunswick artists, each exploring the idea of “underwater” in completely different ways, from quiet and meditative to strange, playful, and deeply personal. The response to this show has been incredible, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has stopped in, shared the work, and supported local artists.

"Underwater" runs until Saturday, May 30th, the final day to view the exhibition and purchase artwork from the show.
