There was a rumour with respect to the whereabouts of the desk and chair of one of Cumberland’s four fathers of Confederation - Dr. Sir Charles Tupper.
Today we had the pleasure of not only locating this invaluable artifact but being able to sit at the desk.
Thank you John and the other staff and volunteers of the Cumberland County Museum & Archives for an incredible experience.
Please take the time to visit this historic gem in your own backyard.
