I went down to Cranleys & moved her stove & chest. Then I worked at Marys for a while this afternoon. It rained a lot to-day. To-night Myra & I went to Pine Springs. I called at Ernies and Myra at Mrs Collins. Then we went to Peters for a short visit and got home around eleven. Folks from Miss Maus cottage called to-day & brought me a letter.
Tuesday, June 20
Florence, David & Ethel were here for dinner to-day then Myra went up with them to Aunt Roses & I met her at the corner by Marys when they came back. I only got 2 ½ hrs at Marys cottage to-day. I went to bible study at McCrackens to-night. All there but Bob. Hewitt Transport left stove for Mrs Aymong while I was away.
Wednesday, June 21
Elvins cow was over here this morning. I worked about 4 hrs at Marys to-day. To-night I went over and cut up a half beef for Myrtle Cowan & called in at Vernals & put in 4.60 worth of gas in the car.
Thursday, June 22
It was another lovely day today. I went to the little lake & picked up the minnow traps so I am not selling any minnows now. The people from Galchucks whom I do not charge got some to-day. I got some hardware at Harolds & set up Mrs Cranleys stove & pipes, also checked the ranch fence and put the yearlings in that got out. I painted the wheel for the car that I got extra.
Friday, June 23
Emily asked Vic to phone & tell us the yearlings were out so I went up and took them all with Tidy & her calf up to the Coulter place, hay to their sides. I worked at Marys cottage for about 5 hrs to-day. Mrs Cranley & her two friends called for the parcels that Hewitts left. Bill Peck got $2.00 worth of minnows. Myra & I went in & put flowers on the graves.
Saturday, June 24
Fred Olan phoned & wanted 200 minnows so I had to go to the lake & put in some traps. When I went up one of the black heifers had a nail in her foot so I phoned Daves & three of them came to help & we caught her & got it out. Bill Edwards got a fire permit. We had our S.S. picnic at Adamsons to-day from 4 to about 7. Mr & Mrs Gracie were up for supper. Lloyd came to our place, also Peg & Toni in evening.
Sunday, June 25
It was a rainy day today & rather cool, only 21 out to S.S. This was our last Sunday till Oct. There were only 3 that got prizes for regular attendance, David, Ray & Verna. I was at church to-night, there were 20 out. Lloyd was here when I got home. Then I took him home after the chores were done.
