Simply Bhutan, A Living Museum and Simple Bhutan Restaurant, YDF, Thimphu. In partnership with Lhayee Lugar Performing Arts.

The Simply Bhutan Project is a unique project that is one of its kinds in the country. It is a living museum and photo studio created and run by the youth of Bhutan. While the infrastructure is made from collection of doors, window frames and other building materials from old traditional Bhutanese houses that are demolished, the photo studios portray age-old life styles of the Bhutanese people. Ev

ery door or a window frame tells a story and a legend of Bhutan then. In the structure are at least 200 years old doors and ladder, 400 years old windows and altar. The wear and tear of usage evidences them. Likewise the items in the kitchen studio and the small display room also date back to the yonder days. Simply Bhutan is truly an innovative creation of restoring the old and the precious. Simply Bhutan offers visitors from outside and within the country a fascinating experience of a true Bhutanese culture and tradition. With youth as employees in Simply Bhutan, we are providing opportunities for young people to participate in preserving and restoring their rich old heritage and culture.

This year, the much-anticipated expedition took place in Punakha at the Mochu bank. The thrilling rafting service with delicious breakfast and lunch was provided by Lotus Camping and River Rafting, Punakha.
