A major landslide has just occurred in Rohingya Camp 05, Sub-Block A3. According to local residents, around 30 madrasa students are reportedly trapped inside following the incident.

Community members have already begun rescue efforts, but the situation is extremely critical. Urgent assistance from professional emergency rescue teams is needed immediately to help save lives.

Please keep the affected students, their families, and all rescue volunteers in your prayers. We hope everyone is brought to safety as soon as possible.

Arakan is our homeland. We, the Rohingya people, are a historic and integral part of Arakan's identity, and our belonging to this land cannot be erased by persecution, displacement, or political denial.

Blessed with a strategic geographic location along the Bay of Bengal, rich natural resources, fertile lands, and a long maritime heritage, Arakan has the potential to become a major center of trade, tourism, and regional development. Throughout history, it has been known for its diverse communities, ancient civilizations, and strong connections with neighboring regions. However, decades of political instability, armed conflict, authoritarian governance, and prolonged crises have prevented the full realization of its potential. Despite these challenges, many people continue to envision an Arakan that is peaceful, prosperous, and capable of utilizing its rich heritage and economic opportunities for the benefit of all its communities.
