One month on from the 70 Years on Wentworth Flood Rally, and we're still riding high from an incredible weekend!

The event was a fantastic success, and we couldn't have done it without our amazing 127 tractor participants. Your passion, enthusiasm, and commitment are what made this rally so special.

Thank you for bringing your tractors, sharing your stories, and helping us commemorate the historic 1956 flood. We are truly grateful for every one of you.

🎉Congratulations to all of the winners of the “Fergie Awards” 🎉

There were so many outstanding contenders across every category that choosing the winners was an incredibly difficult task. The standard of entries was exceptionally high.

Every tractor entered had its own unique story, character, and qualities that made it deserving of recognition. From beautifully restored classics to hardworking originals and cherished family favourites, the passion, dedication, and pride shown by their owners were evident in every entry.

A big thank you to the sponsors of the luck door prize raffle at the “By God, By Fergie” Friday night dinner. The prizes were fantastic with a great array to choose from. Thanks to Presto's Hunting & Shooting, Cooinda Gardens Nursery, Trentham Estate Winery, Agg-Tech Machinery, Community Bank Wentworth & District, Hit99.5 Sunraysia, Triple M Sunraysia, and Leda Ag. It was a great night all round with many laughs and a trip back to 1956 with a wonderful film by Ian McWilliams from Frames of History.

What a truly unforgettable weekend!

The 70 Years on Wentworth Flood Rally has come to an end, and what an incredible celebration it was. Seventy years after the historic 1956 Wentworth Flood, we came together to remember the resilience, determination, and community spirit that helped shape our region, along with of course the “Little Grey Fergie”.

One of the biggest highlights was achieving an Australian Record for the most Ferguson tractors gathered in one location — a remarkable sight that none of us will forget anytime soon. From the tractor trek across three days to the record attempt itself, every moment was special. There were so many highlights that we simply couldn't choose a favourite.

We would love to see the event through your eyes as well. Whether you were behind the wheel of a tractor, part of the support crew, or one of the many spectators who lined the route and cheered us on, please share your photos and memories with us.

On behalf of the 70 Years on Wentworth Flood Rally Committee — Kendall, Cathryn, Hannah, Ray (Vintage Machinery Society of Sunraysia) and Alan (TRACS)— thank you. Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, volunteered, and attended, you helped make this commemorative event such a success. Whether you joined us for the entire trek or simply came along for the Australian Record attempt, your presence helped make the weekend something truly special.

Hannah Gebert from the Wentworth Visitor Information Centre and Wentworth Shire Council Deputy Mayor Cr Peter Crisp with the Australian Record Certificate for the largest gathering of Ferguson tractors in one location.

Tomorrow is the day! It’s the final day of the 70 Years on Wentworth Flood Rally. Make sure you head into Wentworth to view our amazing tractors, see if we’ve broken the Australian Record, and enjoy a day full of family fun and activities.
Come and see the tractors roll into town, vintage machinery and vehicle displays on the Rowing Club lawns. EnviroEdu demonstrations in the Visitor Information Centre, market stalls, merry-go-round, historical reenactments, and FREE face painting!
Even the Swag Muppets have rolled into town for this special occasion!
Can’t wait to see you all tomorrow! 🚜

We love hearing about your stories about the Wentworth Flood Rally and one story in particular that we felt was worth sharing, is from a long-time rally attendee Ric Brown. Ric’s father Neal Brown was a Sunraysia local and acquired a Grey Fergie back on the 1980’s for a small property in Red Cliffs. Neal attended all of the Fergie Rallies up until the age of 90 in 2011. Neal sadly passed away in 2014. In 2016 Ric, his brother Peter and Neal’s grandchildren drove his little grey Fergie in his honour. Ric and his family will continue to honour Neal’s legacy and is participating in this year’s trek.
We are so excited to welcome not just Ric and his family but all of our returning Fergie Tractor enthusiasts, second or third generations, and first timers to our 70 Years on Wentworth Flood Rally.
