The Halvorsen family estate is for sale! Constructed by Harold Halvorsen in 1950, "Skaugum" embodies the excellent craftsmanship ascribed to his name.

Maybe someone in the community can assist with this:

We've been contacted by a former owner of 38' Halvorsen "Glen Mist", which was in the owner's family from the 1970s through to the 1990s. They are seeking any information about the boat, its history and it's current whereabouts.

They believe the boat was one of a batch built for the war effort in the mid 40's. The registration during the family's ownership was AK 37.

The last known location was somewhere on the Maribyrnong River in Melbourne.
