SHADES is a society at the University of Sydney that organises social events for LGBTQIA+ students and their friends. We hold a range of social events throughout semester, including (but not limited to!) parties, picnics, trivia, weekly catch ups and online games nights. Meet our wonderful exec:

100% of ticket prices go directly to this exceptional charity, ACON is a health promotion organisation focused on HIV prevention, support, and broader LGBTIQ+ health issues!

Join us on Zoom to help revive SHADES! After being unregistered for almost a whole year, we thought it was about time we brought one of the biggest q***r societies in Sydney back to life.

SHADES is an incredibly important social space for q***r people in Sydney, especially our q***r community on campus. Join us to elect a new executive so we can re-register and start growing this beautiful space again 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Come get wavy with SHADES at our big end of semester party at the Factory Theatre!

Bring yourself, your friends and your finest ocean themed fits! Think ocean creatures, pirates, anything sea related! There are only about 100 tickets available so get in quick!

We will be partying the night away from 7 - 11 pm on Thursday November 23rd.
We've got a fantastic lineup of DJs and performers so let the nautical nonsense commence! Sea you there!!
