A little colour to brighten up a rainy Tuesday! 🌈✨

It's been a rather grey start to the week here in Brisbane, so we're bringing a little sunshine to your feed courtesy of MIA SULLY! ☀️

Full of colour, personality and all the good vibes, Mia's gorgeous abstracts are just the thing to lift a space (and your mood!).

Because sometimes all a room needs is a little pop of colour to make you smile every time you walk past. 💛

It's not very often you see me just chatting away to the camera! Not because I don't love a good chat (quite the opposite! 😂), but usually I'm too busy showing you all the beautiful artwork around the gallery!

But with SO much happening at Aspire lately, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to have a little catch-up! ❤️

From the madness of the Melbourne Affordable Art Fair Australia and our trip to the RME Downlands Art Exhibition show, to hanging (and rehanging!) our October exhibitions... It's certainly been a busy few months!

We've had Danielle Lovatt's beautiful sellout solo exhibition, launched our very last Little Feature Wall for 2026, and filled the gallery with gorgeous new work for our summer exhibition, "Bliss"! ☀️

And we're certainly not slowing down just yet!

With the Sydney Affordable Art Fair just around the corner and our much-loved Foot Square exhibition still to come, there's plenty more excitement ahead before we wrap up 2026!

So here's a little catch-up on what we've been up to (which I was meant to share last week! 🤦🏻), what's coming next, and everything happening behind the scenes at Aspire!

Did you miss the memo?! 👀🎨

We've extended "Foot Square" 2026 applications until Wednesday 28 October! 🎉

We know how crazy this time of year can get (seriously, where has 2026 gone?! 😂), so we've given everyone a little extra breathing room to get those applications in!

But don't leave it until the very last minute! We all know how quickly those extra days can disappear, especially at this time of year! 👀

In the meantime, here's a little sneak peek at one of the gorgeous pieces already submitted by Claire Weaver | Artist - who currently has some fabulous works on show in "Bliss" too! 💛

We've been loving seeing all the different works coming through, and it's getting us very excited for one of our favourite exhibitions of the year. There's something pretty special about bringing together so many different artists, styles and little original treasures all under one roof, just in time for Christmas!

So if Foot Square is still sitting on your to-do list, here's your reminder to tick it off. We'd love to see what you've been creating!

Just THREE Saturdays left before we're on our way to the Affordable Art Fair Australia Sydney! 🎉🎨

And things are getting very exciting over here!

We've got gorgeous new works arriving almost daily, and we're putting together one seriously fabulous collection to wrap up our art fair year!

We'll be sharing plenty of sneak peeks over the next few weeks before our courier hits the road, so keep your eyes peeled. 👀

Calling all bird lovers! 🐦💕

We've got some new little friends in the gallery, courtesy of Contemporary Impressionist on Kaurna Yarta, and they're just too sweet!

Full of so much charm, these little beauties have joined us for "Bliss", our summer exhibition.

And we reckon they're the perfect little piece to treat yourself to, or to gift to someone special (particularly if they're a bit bird obsessed!) 😉

Who says a big wall needs one big artwork? 👀

Sometimes, it's all about bringing together a few smaller pieces that make you happy! A little colour here, a little personality there, and suddenly you've got a wall full of things you love 💛

We're loving how these three works look together, each bringing something totally different to the space!

And the best part? All three are currently available as part of Bliss, our summer exhibition ☀️

but have you tried it? 👀

And with an entire wall of original artworks under $500, it's becoming increasingly difficult to come up with a reason not to take one home.

Financially responsible? Debatable.
Self-control? That's another story 💅

Well, here we go again… SYDNEY! 🎨💥

Just THREE weeks to go until the Sydney Affordable Art Fair (where has the time gone?!), and our collection is just about finalised!

And we have to say, it's shaping up to be an absolute banger to wrap up this year of art fairs! 🙌

We're bringing a fabulous mix of familiar favourites, exciting new artists, and plenty of brand-new works that we cannot wait to share with you.

After a HUGE year of art fairs, we're certainly not slowing down for the final one!

Sydney, we're coming for you! 💃✨

We're not entirely sure where 2026 has disappeared to (seriously, how is it already October?! 😂), and it seems we're not the only ones!

With the end-of-year craziness well and truly kicking in, we know a few of you could use a little more time... So we've decided to give everyone (and ourselves!) some extra breathing room!

Foot Square 2026 applications have officially been EXTENDED until Wednesday 28 October! 🎉

Foot Square is always one of our favourite exhibitions of the year! There's something so special about bringing together such a huge variety of artists, styles and little original treasures, all in one show (and just before Christmas!).

And with the end-of-year rush well and truly upon us, we figured a little extra time wouldn't go astray! Whether you're finishing off your latest masterpiece or simply haven't found a spare moment to sit down and apply, we've got you covered! 💛

🖼️ Exhibition: 21 November – 19 December

📅 New closing date: Wednesday 28 October, midnight (i.e 11:59pm AEST).
