Nangwarry Forestry Museum

Nangwarry Forestry Museum Houses a whole range of forestry equipment, from large machinery to chainsaws. The museum is open anytime if you wish to make a phone appointment.

Fire fighting is also covered with restored trucks, a comprehensive Ash Wednesday display, and all kinds of fire fighting equipment from the past to the present. As the timber industry is inherent to the South East of South Australia, local history is also a major component of the museum with a host of displays and information.

Our hard working volunteers have been busy! Sorting out drainage problems and spreading loads of premium soil. This will become a lovely grassed area with seating. This outdoor space will be great when our community hall has a function. And a relaxing place while waiting for appointments at our Doctor's surgery.

We're looking for volunteers if you have a hour or two to spare? You can do as much or as little as you like. Any help would be fantastic. πŸ˜€ We're open for 8am- 11am Monday to Thursday. We could do with some help with small maintenance jobs. You can enjoy social interaction with our visitors to the museum. Or just head over for a cupper and a chat. Give Chris a call on
0438397002 or drop a message on messager.
