Join us on Tuesday, 27 October for our Annual Dinner - a two-course dinner at Moonee Valley Legends with our guest speaker, Robert Larkins, author of The Personal History of William Buckley: Murrangurk Among the First People.

A British soldier transported to Australia, Buckley escaped custody and lived for more than 30 years among Wathaurong people on the Bellarine Peninsula, learning their language, customs and traditions. When Europeans returned and conflict erupted, he found himself caught between two worlds.

Hear this remarkable story of survival, cultural connection and courage, with copies of Robert’s book available for purchase on the evening.
