Nette's Enchanted Wildwood I make small animals & elements of the forest with love, from natural fibres. With no wire there’s nothing to hurt little people (or big ones).

All my creations are unique. I also draw stuff and make greeting cards. All my work can be made to order.

Post Dog School…

Tired boy.

Winnie is going so well! He’s loving Dog School. We would have graduated from the Foundation Class this morning, but we’ll have to miss a couple of days in the coming weeks, so I decided to give him another round of foundation work. It’ll be great.

It was such a lovely morning for it. Cool, a little overcast and very pleasant. Lots of birdies out for a morning stroll. 🤩 A few pairs of gorgeous Galahs. A family of Wood Pigeons and a lovely Magpie, who serenaded Winnie and I as we strolled around. I go early so he can burn off a bit of steam before the class proper.

I take a very full bag of treats to work with and this morning we literally only just made it to the end!! Used my last treat for the last instruction of the day!! 😮‍💨😅

It’s a joy to be back at Dog School. It’s something I have always loved. It seems to be fun for Winnie too. 🥰

It was so lovely to take Winnie for a walk at Lillydale Lake today. It was great for him to get out and about and start to connect with his new world.

We caught up with our lovely friend Karen (Karen Buckland Yoga & Reiki). It was the first time they’d met and it definitely won’t be the last. 🤩💖

Lovely, unexpected surprises…

When Winnie 🐶 and I walked out the back door yesterday we were greeted with a blanket of pretty white flowers strewn across the ground. 😍

The thing is, I don’t know where they came from. I can’t see any flowers like these anywhere near by. I guess it’s a beautiful gift from… the Faeries… the Universe… the Otherworld. 🤷‍♀️ Happy to accept it, no matter who left it for us. 🙏💝

Christmas Holiday Fun with my Family! 🥰💖

On Christmas Day it was wonderful to have my whole family together. It’s been a while and I had a magnificent day.

A visit to the LEGO store and I was finally able to get myself my sigfig for the footy. I always wear #17, because that was my Dad’s number. 🥹 We also visited the MYER Christmas windows. This year the whole thing was made out of LEGO too. My favourite window was the Sidney Myer Music Bowl hosting the Carols by Candlelight. 🕯️🎶🥰

We went to the Museum, twice! When it was in the City centre, I visited the Museum nearly every time I went to the City. Since it moved, I have not been once!!! 🤦‍♀️ So it was an absolute joy to visit twice in one week and catch up with my old friend Phar Lap. 🐎

The first visit was to see the Viking Horde, a wonderful display of the exquisite jewellery made by my Viking ancestors… yes, I am 6% Viking! And a very significant 6% that is.

The second time, we went for the LEGO Star Wars exhibition. It was amazing. The builds were incredible and inspirational and there were multiple interactive opportunities to build your own creations. Such fun.

We also went to the F1 Exhibition at Jeff’s Shed. It was absolutely brilliant. It held SO much information about the history and development of F1, it was almost a little overwhelming. You could easily spend days there to absorb everything, and you could just as easily get around it in a couple of hours and still feel sated. It has many layers. There was a strong focus on Australia’s part in the evolution of the sport and a whole section on the drivers, their journey to F1, development and rivalries. I absolutely loved it.
