Qantas Founders Museum and Longreach Museum of Art are proud to present Carbon_Dating, a groundbreaking exhibition exploring our relationship with native grasses and the environment. 🌏✨ Through sculpture, media, and Indigenous knowledge, this project shifts perspectives on Australia’s often-overlooked grasses.

Join us this Friday night, November 15th, at 6pm for the launch of IN HER NAME: Celebrating the lives of Queensland's women and girls. The event will be held with us in Gallery 1 of Qantas Founders Museum and entry is free.
The opening will be presented by WOW Women of the World Australia.
The following day Saturday, 16 November there will be a special in-conversation event will held from 9am featuring:
WOW Australia Executive Producer, Cathy Hunt and feature Grace Nakamura, ABC Western Queensland journalist, Heather Hale, visual artist and ABC broadcaster, Kathy Weller, writer, personal trainer and chaplain and Jody Brown, grazier, nature lover and climate action advocate. At 11am local ABC journalist, Heather Hale, and feature Louise Campbell, manager of Red Ridge Arts and Fashion Company; Peta Ann Gowing, hairdresser and yoga teacher; Rhondda Scott, photographer, landscape and textile artist, and songwriter; and Dr Tracey Harbour, business owner, First Nations advocate, and artist.
