//THANK YOU VOLUNTEER MICK//

We’re open today until 4pm! 🎨

If you’re in Longreach this afternoon, pop into Miniritchi Gallery and say hello to Mick Quinn, who is in the gallery today until 4pm.

Mick’s Cosmos series is inspired by the Outback night sky, using circular forms, repetition, tone and space to explore the vastness and quiet rhythm of the stars above Western Queensland.

Rather than creating a literal night sky, Mick’s works are more about pattern, atmosphere and feeling. Across the series he experiments with ink, charcoal, watercolour and canvas, giving each piece its own character while still feeling part of the same world.

The works are available to purchase, and Mick is also happy to take commissions in custom sizes and colour schemes.

🕓 Open today until 4pm

Come in for a browse, meet Mick, and spend a little time with some of the creative work being made right here in our region. 💛

We’re open all day today until 4pm! 🎨

If you’re out and about in Longreach this Saturday, pop into Miniritchi Gallery and spend some time with the current STUDIES exhibition.

Today we’re shining a spotlight on photographer Ella van Raders and her striking work Desert Storm, captured near Birdsville.

Ella’s photography studies the dramatic meeting point between land and sky, following the movement of cloud, shadow, light and distance as a storm builds across the open western landscape. The contrast between the golden desert foreground and the weight of the storm above gives the image an incredible sense of scale and atmosphere.

It’s one of those works that makes you stop for a moment and simply look.

Ella’s work is also available to purchase in several photographic formats, making it a beautiful way to support a regional artist and take a piece of western Queensland home with you.

🕓 Open today until 4pm

Come in, have a wander, and discover some of the incredible creative work being made across our region. 💛
