A huge congratulations to the Waltzing Matilda Centre on being named a finalist in the 2026 Gallery and Museum Achievement Awards! 🎉

It is wonderful to see such an important western Queensland cultural organisation recognised at a state level, and especially exciting to see regional arts, stories and community work standing alongside some of Queensland’s major institutions.

A very well-deserved achievement for the team in Winton. Congratulations! 👏✨

Every student across the school has been involved, learning and rehearsing during Arts lessons throughout the term, and they’re ready to share a night of music, laughter and plenty of outback spirit with the Longreach community.
