Grose Wold Engine Works Hope you enjoy!

This page is my way of sharing my collection of antique stationary engines with friends and interested public as I move the collection into its newly completed display shed, the culmination of 30 years of engine collection and restoration.

Flash back video of one of my favourite engines, 3Hp Olds Type A. Olds engines were manufactured by Olds Gas Power Company which was founded by the same company that produced Oldsmobile cars and REO trucks. Ransom Eli Olds was the company founder and his initials form the REO trucks brand name. Olds Gas Power Company was taken over by Seager Engine Works in about 1910-1912 so this engine predates that change in company ownership. This particular engine was from the collection of the late Edd Payne who was a well known engine restorer and collector in New South Wales, Australia.
