As the drought deepens its grip on Geurie, these walls of green feel like a hidden sanctuary. Finding a local spot to escape the dust is truly good for the soul. 🌿✨

The grapevines have found their feet & steel wire rope will soon be hung between the tall steel posts as we start to train the grapevine up & over.

Soaking in the green walls, whilst enjoying great coffee & delicious food - it was a delight to see the cafe & gallery pumping on the weekend.

We are very happy for Jacinta, Belle, Tina & Andie. Great gals ❤️

Work will commence soon to start tidying up the car-yard to transform it into a vacant canvas for its next business. [Yard is currently available for lease].

What’s on the work list for this site…?

We can’t wait to paint the security fence black, do some painting & install a new boundary fence - we are changing the outdoor toilet layout behind the cafe and with additional room soon to come, it will be great to create a space for the gas bottles, skip bins & other things a cafe stores behind the scenes.

We will build new gates at the rear will make access from Chambers Street much easier. It has been great to look at very old parish maps & plans of the site to see how trucks used to come and go from this site many, many years ago when it was a nursery.

Landcare Central West NSW has been in touch to erect a Wedgetail Eagle sign on the fence - as part of a citizen science project to draw attention to raptors & their importance in our local landscape.

Cool art + science + landcare project coming soon to the fence near cafe 🦅
