Appreciation post for this huge white cosmos that popped up in my house garden. It’s funny how you put all the love and care into the cutting patch, yet the biggest and most beautiful flowers often work it out themselves 💕. Love nature for that. Making me think about doing more companion planting in the cutting garden as I’m pretty sure it helps being nestled amongst the salvia and lavender 🤔.

D A H L I A S | I’m obsessed. Even though mine are soooooo slow to bloom and it’s super frustrating.

This morning I took myself off to the Blue Mountains to this AMAZING dahlia patch of 3000 approx dahlia plants and it brought me so much joy and reminded me why I am doing this. This lovely couple have absolutely nailed growing these beauties and boy do they have some spectacular varieties!! 😍 I picked up some cuttings and a bucket of probably the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen. In summary, Henry and I had a fabulous morning and it was well worth the drive. This is the goal now. 😍

D A H L I A S | I’m obsessed. Even though mine are soooooo slow to bloom and it’s super frustrating.

Got a call to put together a LARGE birthday bunch from a Mumma to her special birthday gal. So here it is… full credit and admiration to florists who put together large bunches and installations on the reg. They are hard work but well worth it.
