Going for a morning walk is often a highlight of my day. Thanks to Louie and his phenomenal Cobra this morning’s walk was even better.

Today was the best day EVER winding down with an up close look at Johnny Habib’s latest restoration.
It is a 1974 Torana L34 HO (high output pack) 308 with a long ratio 4 speed M21 gearbox. 1 of 263 ever made. 1 of 6 delivered in this aqua marine colour combination but only 1 of 3 surviving. Originally sold from Caldwell Holden in North Sydney. Had the full chrome pack and a hot wire wide pack wheels. Johnny has restored it from a barn find in northern NSW to a concourse standard. This is the 33rd Torana that Johnny has restored and a culmination of Johnnys Torana restoration passion and years of learning.

This was my Sunday morning at the Dubbo No Prep Takeover. A line up of stunning beauty. My church.

I am in love. I have a type. So much inspiration to take home.

The Burgess Garage car museum in Guyra is well worth the stop.

This morning I joined Johnny Habib and my No Prep Racing Australia family for a day of outstanding drag racing. Just driving into the airstrip felt like church to me. Peaceful, laid back, filled with people I genuinely enjoy and very, very awesome cars. I have lots more footage to share but right now I am a bit battered.
Thank you to everyone who made the day a delight.

Dubbo Motorfest is a one day show that punches well above its weight. 10,000 people through the gate, more than 800 cars and motorcycles on display. Many many cars and bikes of an international Calibre. VIP guests. Plus perfect weather. Thank you for having me.

Setting up for Dubbo MotorFest today and I have fallen in love with Lisa and Shane’s 1986 XF Ford. Greg Maskell showed me around the car and explained that it started life as a 4 door sales rep car for Lisa. It was then turned into a hot pink show car, it made top ten at SummerNats, had a Street Machine Cover and is now up for sale. The only thing left on the car original are the 2 front wheels and the rear taillight panel. Since then it has had the Cleveland installed, a 2 door chop top, su***de doors, a custom front end, a custom rear end and a fully electric EVERYTHING. It was way ahead of its time when it was built in the early 2000’s and is still a show stopper today.
I am off to Tasmania soon, perhaps Lisa and Shane and I should sit down and talk moneys.
Dubbo Motorfest is on all day tomorrow at the Dubbo Showgrounds if you want to see Psycho and lots of other gorgeous cars and bikes in the flesh.
